Beautiful Tropical Hardwood Projects

These hardwoods are twice as hard as red oak. Some of them are from the Congo in Africa (e.g., Paduak (red), Congolese Mahogany (cream), Wenge (black) and a few are from Central and South America (e.g., Cocobolo (brown, black and cream mix), Brazilian Mahogany (darker cream), Bloodwood (red satin), Central American Teak and Rosewood). I don't use any stain on these woods; I just use four coats of polyurethane which brings out the wood grain and colors beautifully.

I saw the above chair at the hotel in Budapest. I decided to design and make the chair below based on it.
